About me
Judy Fisher loves sharing the gift of meditation. Professionally, she was a technical writer and teacher for more than 20 years in the high tech world. During that time, she also taught Hebrew to children and adults. Judy moved to the Bay Area with her family about 5 years ago and began a second career teaching Jewish Mindfulness Meditation. She is currently the director of Or HaLev (Light of the Heart), which is the Center for Jewish Spirituality at Peninsula Temple Beth El in San Mateo. Judy received her certification to teach Jewish Mindfulness Meditation last year from the Institute of Jewish Spirituality based in New York and also serves on their national board. She also serves on the board of trustees at Peninsula Temple Beth El. Judy lives in San Mateo with her husband of 37 years and they have 3 wonderful children as well as a new daughter-in-law.
